WHAT TO WEAR
A Bar Mitzvah is a Jewish coming-of-age for boys when they turn 13. At this age, a boy is recognized as being responsible for his own actions and is able to fully participate in Jewish religious life, including being counted in a minyan (prayer quorum), leading parts of the service, reading from the Torah, and fulfilling the commandments of the Torah. It is both a deeply meaningful spiritual milestone and a joyful occasion to celebrate with family and friends.
WHAT IS A BAR MITZVAH?
Of course! We'd love for you to attend as many events that works for your schedule.
If I can't attend every event can I Still come?
Most men wear suits or sport coats with slacks. Boys can wear a button-down, slacks, and even sneakers. Women and girls can wear dresses, skirts, or nice pants. Men and boys will also wear a kippah for services. We will provide Kippahs.
